Now that he's older he can hold going to the bathroom all day so I leave him at home but he's welcome back any time. I do still ride my bike home at lunch though so he doesn't feel unloved (or have any accidents). He basically runs to the sidewalk to pee and runs right back to the front door because he knows we're going to play ball when we get inside.

And by the way, when you're sad, a dog or a cat (though I think I dog's better, even though I have 2 cats) will certainly help you feel better. So, before when you said, "no one to share it with..." trust me, you have someone. And the best, he doesn't talk back. LOL.

The name brings back memories! I watched Santa Barbara nearly from the first few episodes to the very last. Got me through some rough times too

I remember that show! I think I have that on an old tape, but it's probably ready to break apart after all these years. I couldn't wait to get home from school so I could watch.
Days kinda bores me anymore. All the people that made the show have been cut.
