Sorry I wasn't up to company last night, my mood was absolutely foul and while I wasn't in a position to make things any better I knew that I definitely didn't want to make them worse!

I think most people feel a bit weird when that particular piece of paper comes through. It certainly doesn't seem to be at all unusual to have a completely unexpected emotional reaction.
