Yesterday was my triumphant return to work. Today is my slightly less than triumphant return to bed. It was an easy decision to make - I can hardly move. It would appear that while the abcess is healing up nicely, the groin injury itself is not. I'm now in week three of being off work with this abcess/muscle tear. The good news is that the abcess has been dealt with and is now just in the process of healing up, which it appears to be doing nicely. This has resulted in a massive haematoma under the skin and, thanks to a previous injury, an abcess situated on my hip, just on the right hand side of my spine.
