I can't quite figure this out yet...

I don't have any friends and can't figure this thing out yet. Darn. I'm even lonely in cyberspace!

Sometimes it's hard to get going in places like this. Look for communities that are interested in the same things you are. ;)

You're a chick on the Intratubes. You won't be lonely long. :-)

Welcome aboard! Shadow's right - the LJ comms are great places to meet folks....

You have lots of friends here, some you know already, some you don't.

Welcome to LJ, land of updates and friends and drama and memes and silliness. You can catch up and let people who care know what's going on in your life, so we can quit wondering "How are you doing" so much, we can read it!

You can check out your friends' friends pages to see whom they know and what's up there. You can find communities about your favorite things (although I have yet to find one on "raindrops on roses", but I have to admit I haven't spent much time looking). You will find friends make posts both serious and silly (sometimes even the same post).

Post so we can hear. You can learn about f-lists and filters in case you want some to see your posts but not necessarily the world. You can read your friend's friends pages, decide you like someone, and friend someone in a completely different state or country, and have lots to talk about.

Welcome to your newest addiction. {HUG}

Hey there. I'm a friend of Kurt's. I clicked on your link when I was over on his page. I think it would be rad if we friended each other (I think I just made up that word).

Cheers and welcome to the wondrous, neverending cyber theater that is LJ.

Absolutely! You seem very cool and I'm thrilled to friend you (if it's not a word, we'll make it one!:-) My husband and I are living in Paris now, but he's from New Orleans and we have a place there.

Pleasure to meet you too!
