this is just brilliant. there's no other word for it. because this:

“I’m going to take my shirt off,” Michael tells him, “and you’re going to keep your hands to yourself.”

“Phelps I’m a fucking gentleman,” Ryan says but crawls into bed with Michael as Michael takes off his shirt.

and this:

“Don’t you dare,” he breathes out, “don’t you dare leave me like this Lochte.”

(i actually let out a cheer when i read that bit. it's just.so.on.point.) and this:

i'm not sure! like after i wrote everything i literally went "THEY DID IT WITHOUT A CONDOM" and then debated with myself if mp had female reproductive organs like tubes and an ovary and then if he did get pregnant and he became a boy again would the fetus survive? and got really scientific and then i remembered i wrote michael phelps with a vagina and anything could happen \o/
