I'm not gonna lie when I say I was kind of excited about this particular launch. Life as we know it in Brevard county basically relied on it going well, and it did...I hate Brevard, but I don't wish to see families destroyed, thousands laid off, business closes...maybe I'm going overboard with this...This comment was entirely too long. But whats sad is that hundreds of people were already laid off right when the shuttle took. Thats contract work for you.

The clean-up crew from the last shuttle launch are in a soup kitchen somewhere re-evaluating their lives.
