Feeling whumped!

Well, more of my friends over at GW now have met the man himself - Joe Flanigan. I admit, I'm intensely jealous of all of them. Yet, I am also intensely glad too because meeting Joe couldn't have happened to nicer, deserving friends. From the sounds of things, Joe really seems to personify what a true gentleman should be. *sighs dreamily

I completely agree with being....a bit....uh......jealous that our friends on GW have met Joe. Next time he's around I'm going to take the plunge and go meet him!

Since all this talk of Joe began i've been having non-stop dreams about either being on Shep's team or staying at Joes house for the weekend which is...well...a bit strange really. I see it as my mind hinting...MEET JOE!!!

But then, as you said, i've never been that lucky either, so he might never appear ever again near me! Nooo!

Hey, proud of you for staying spoiler free btw and i'm thinking of you...so don't feel left out of the squeeing. And also, yes, i feel left out of the con talk too so we'll just have to keep steering the thread back to our favourite subject.....WHUMP!

LOL Thanks O1! You are the first to comment in my LJ!! Thus proving gutter whumpers stick together. :D

I envy your dreams! They sound like good ones I wouldn't mind having. Just hoping your not in his bedroom all the time your at his house though. ;)

I totally agree! That's pretty much how I feel about it too. I'm jealous and a little whumped at not meeting him, but like you said, I can't imagine being happier for the other whumpers who have met him. Everyone on that thread is so great it's fantastic that good things happen to them. Our turn will come eventually (I hope!). I've just about given up on going to Sydney - it's just too expensive. So I will continue to hope that Joe finds his way to Melbourne one day in the near future. I'll keep my fingers crossed for the Vancouver Con for you. :D

Aw hon! I'm sorry you're so bummed out about it. I know how you feel though. I've held on to my con ticket since last Oct, squeed like mad when Joe got added to the schedule a year prior to the event and then cried like a baby when he disappeared back in Sept. Then I felt worse when the GWs got notice of Joe at the Expo and they got to meet him all within a month. But look, good things DO happen. A week before NJ, Joe was added back to the schedule and I DID get to meet him. So don't give up! He hasn't said no to Vancouver, according to word from fans in NJ, he hasn't been asked yet. And it's a good sign that he was able to work with Creation to attend NJ, so I can totally see them inviting him to Vancouver. After all he's right there and it's during filming so it's so totally more possible for him to go there than to NJ after being in London
