this is really good GG I don't know why you were so worried. It perfectly captures a moment of thought and contemplation and i can totally see John standing out on the balcony, late at night, being tortured by his memories and trying to clear his head before he goes to bed. You should definately write more :D

Thank you! I'm glad you were able to visualize the moment and mood I was trying to create. As for writing more...uh, not yet. I need to recoup from this attempt first. :D
