The producer (Mallozzi) wouldn't say who it was. Lorne, Zelenka, and Chuck were the three guesses I saw fans giving. Although Zelenka did seem to have that crush on Carter.
Meant y/n in your opinion, ya. :) Zelenka used to make eyes at Elizabeth, too, and Chuck -- well, we don't know as much about Chuck. But Lorne comes from San Francisco, and -- no, I'll stop there, because the rest is totally stereotypical.
I could dig it being Lorne. I have to say I was happy that Parrish showed up this season, because I had missed his episodes (or him in the episodes) and now I have a face to go with the Lorne/Parrish fics. : )
I vote for Marco turning out to be female-to-male and dying in the same ep from complications that have nothing to do with this. Hey, not only Dead Gay/Lesbian cliches must apply - let there be dead transexuals, I say. *is not amused by SGA PTP's stupidity*
House has one transsexual woman -- the unseen nurse who's dating the unseen six-fingered lawyer. They've had a number of gay and lesbian patients and family members, too, although we're still waiting for a male same-sex couple to be shown.
On the SGA side, this teasing of "Hey, we have gay characters; we just never show you that side of them" is really moronic. With as many times as Sheppard's gone after a woman or Rodney has babbled on about women he finds attractive, there could've been a casual mention by whichever character is gay about an ex-boyfriend or something.
To bring up another post-canon reveal, I actually thought it was reasonable that Dumbledore being gay never came up in the Harry Potter books. He was an adult authority figure in a book about kids; his sexuality was not relevant to the story at all. But on SGA, mentions of who's attractive to whom come up all the time, and sharing that for neither Captain Vega nor the gay guy is dumb.
They did the same thing on CSI a few/several years back. Bobby the gun guy (see icon) is gay, has a partner, and they adopted a daughter together. It all ended up on the cutting room floor. And yet we hear all about everyone else's (straight) relationships all the time. Sigh.
Ya know Doppelganger? Ronon had the critter, then Lorne turns up with it? Sleepwalking no less? And how long did it take for Ronon to turn up to stun our widdle Major?
Yeah, that was the sign. The whole Atlantis energy conduit thingy only happened after Lorne got electroshot in his bare feet.
Also, does Lorne wear eyeliner or are his lashes just really, really thick? Either way they're pretty. I bet he wooed Parrish by batting his pretty eyes at him.
BTW, I think that "Runner" is the episode where we first meet Parrish.

But it's probably Chuck or Lorne.
