Thank you for the offer. Sadly, we didn't have enough sign-ups and the fest was canceled :(
There will be more challenges in the future, though :)

How many signup's did you need compared to what you got? I might be able to stir up some more people for it. I'd missed this so it's possible so had many others who'd like to participate.

You might also get more participants if the medium wasn't just fic but artwork/icons/vids etc?

I had 4 sign-ups and I could only pair them up, ending with everyone writing something very close to what they requested.

Thank you for the offer and for the suggestion. The biggest problem right now is that the requests are too varied and even if we have 20 participants, odds are quite small that I'll be able to match them.
I think the best way to go is to organize the type of challenges we had before, only with a theme or prompt and where each participant can choose the pairing.

I will try to get something going by the end of the month and I would be grateful if you could help with getting more participants then :)
