I have been to Omaha Beach recently: this is the beach my grand-daddy stormed on D-Day 65 years ago. My grandparents had only just been married and Larry Hogan was his best man. Sadly Mr Hogan lost his life on the beach as soon as he landed. Why did it take so long?

If I ran the country I would allow all the Gurkhas whoever served to come to the UK to live.  As well as all their children, grand children and their great grand children no matter what their age are!

I have a toothless, three legged cat called Teal'c. He is quite old but we do not know how old he is as he has no teeth.

Last night I saw the finale of Boston Legal which is the best show on earth! It got to its 5th year mark - this is only because the channel it was on is age biased!! Sure most of the actors were in their 50's: but when has that been a crime? Especially when the majority of people, who watch the most TV are, yup you've guessed it - the over 50's!
