Thanks :) I don't think she was being misleading, just overly friendly, which isn't a bad thing. Maybe I should've asked if she had any older friends :p

I know, I was being facetious :p I still don't know how I managed to get it so wrong, but whatever. Lesson learnt. Keep trying, and ask for ID straight away (she has olive skin, it's quite hard to tell her age). And do intel to check relationship status.
