I was just thinking about you the other day, and wondering how you were doing with school and life in general! I'm glad to see that all is going well. I had no doubts you'd do well at school

Oh, medication issues! I totally feel you on that. I was put on a medication for migraines that triggered hives and, even though I stopped taking it within a couple of days, has left me with chronic itching. And then the medication they put me on for the itching caused depression. I was in therapy for months for the depression, then dropped the meds and was fine three days later. The itching is a bitch, though.
Oh how awful! It's unreal the number of side effects some medications can cause. And to cause the depression on top of the hives is like adding insult to injury.
I am glad you are not depressed any longer though. How have you been? Still writing?
All right, I'll do a little rundown of my life. Not too exciting. Still loving Adam Lambert. I got into Buffy recently and have seen most all of the eps, except for a few early ones. I was so obsessed with X-Files back then or I'd've been all into the show. I love Spike. Speaking of vamps, almost finished with True Blood. No spoilers, please.
Have had some health issues. Right leg problems that caused me to go to my orthopaedist after 14 or so years. I have arthritis, in case you forgot, and have had joint replacements. My right hip was bothering me, but the x-rays showed no loosening of the implant or any other issues. Still have some discomfort, but he can't find a reason. However, my left hip that is 25 years old, is okay. *head desk* I can still do the treadmill! Yay!
I've been thinking about you here and there, especially when I wear my jewelry you made for me. I love telling people it was an exclusive piece made for me. :D
I've been missing you lady! Every time I hear the name Adam Lambert I always think of you *g*.
Are you excited about the X-Files return in January? I am. I guess I need to go back and rewatch some of the old episodes.
That's rough about your right leg. I do remember that you struggled with the arthritis. That can be so painful, I hate that for you.
I'm so glad you still enjoy the necklace! I haven't had a chance to make anything for a few years now.
I never got into Buffy all that much. Same can be said for True Blood, although Craig has watched both in their entirety. But I know how fun it is to get into a different show, new or old, so I am glad you are enjoying it!
HI!!!!!!!! I'm back here too! Deleted Facebook from my devices this morning. Feels like the liberals have taken over the world and I simply cannot handle the misinformation being spread about the south and the hatred being spewed over those who support a confederate flag - such as myself. When I spent one morning in tears fearful for the nation I love, that was enough. I'm so proud for you going back to school. *hugs* glad to see you back here! It is definitely the safer place.
I didn't delete the account because I have lots of photos stored there, but I don't have the app on my phone or pad. I have to log in here at my desktop or on my laptop to be able to use it. So that will drastically cut down my access to it, since I seldom am here at my desktop unless I'm paying bills (like now lol).
I have actually considered deleting mine. But so many things have FB pages now. And you can't just view something without an account, which pisses me off.
I admire people who go back to school to get a new start, so congrats on that ! I know nothing about meds for depression but it looks like a tough situation so please take care of yourself

No, it's not just your flist, everybody's gone to tumblr or twitter, or AO3 for the fics. I'm not saying they're bad places, but they really don't encourage discussions in my opinion. The few examples I can see on Tumblr, I can't make heads or tails of who's saying what. I'm probably just too old to get it ;) Great pics and gifs, though

I don't know if I can do the banter or not. I mean yeah, I could flesh out a scene or two, but not sure I could carry an entire story with it. I've read some really great McDanno fics and am constantly in awe of some of them.
Steve is an absolute nightmare to write, imo. Aside from trading barbs with Danny, there's not much emotion to run with. Danny is easier to write, but you can carry him over the top if you don't watch out.
I have equal love for Steve and Danny. As far as sex appeal, I have to go with Steve though. But for overall dimension and character, I love Danny (not that I don't find Scott Caan absolutely adorable!). They are a perfect fusion. :)

I'm kinda meh about the X-Files reboot. I should be more excited; perhaps when TPTB give us more details.

Yes, it's gotten completely out of control. I can't stomach half of the garbage. And it's just so damn ignorant is the part that slays me.
But anyway, like you say, it's not worth it.
Thanks about the school! I'm glad to be back.
*super hugs*
