Falling Skies and other random stuffs
First off, I finally made my decision to truly cut ties with Facebook. I'm deleting my account tomorrow evening. It's just not worth the aggravation any longer.
Falling Skies. Badamn! It left me wondering if everything that happened was for real though. I think I had the same reaction to the season 4 premiere. The beginning sequence was bizarre, but I liked it. And all the attacks seemed almost too easy, imo. This is a dark path that Tom is going down. I think it's going to break his relationship with Anne. I could be wrong, but you could feel the concern she radiated. It's going to get ugly.
And the overlord? Well that wasn't much of a fight now was it? I had expected more, honestly. Again, it all seems too easy. I can't help but wonder if Tom is still stuck on that ship or the moon or in stasis or SOMETHING! And what was with the new alien that seemed to be flashing within his memory of his dead wife?
And the whole Ben/Hal/Maggie triangle is beyond uncomfortable. As a side note about Maggie, I like that the show has the roots of her hair grown out several inches now. It's a small detail, but a very realistic one at that. No time for a dye job during the apocalypse! Kudos to the show for that bit of realism.
Hal is just set to turn a blind eye and declare that he's willing to hurt his brother for Maggie's love?! WTF?
Too many questions and a good start to the season though. Can't wait for next week!
I went over and signed up for a tumblr account but I find myself just staring like a complete moron. How do you keep track of anything? Seriously? It looks like a gigantic clusterfuck, imo. But there does seem to be a ton of info there, if you can wade through the sea of crap.
Oh well, life goes on.....
