I've been trying to keep busy for the past few days. I've been doing fairly good at distracting myself with various things. I have grown very frustrated with graphics though. Grrr. Why is it that LJ hates .png? Is it me? I thought at first it was a MAC thing at home. But I've been at my Dad's for a few days on his PC and I still can't get .

FYI, tumblr sucks lots of data from what I hear. I don't know what kind of plan you've got, but be mindful.

Why does Windows 8 hate gif files? XP didn't. *pouts*

We've got some ungodly high end data plan, but I will still be mindful. The child can eat up some serious bandwidth on his own playing on Steam.

Hmm? Win 8 doesn't like .gifs? That's weird. I hated 8, which was what finally drove me over to the MAC side.

I did finally figure out on the MAC that when I go to save a .png file from online, I can simply change the file extension to .jpg and voila, it's happy!

Still doesn't explain what's so wrong with them though.

Life without gifs is just wrong. *shakes head*

I had one of Adam and Tommy making out (similar to this icon) and it wouldn't display in My Pictures screen saver and couldn't access it even to delete it since it said I didn't have permission to delete it. Um, it's my computer, but okay. It pissed me off and I didn't want things to get all effed up, so when I had an issue with another problem I took it to the Geek Squad and they had to delete it for me. Awkward. :P

Not sure about the LJ thing. I checked my Scrapbook, and I have png files uploaded there that I link to. Hmmm.
