1. My five cats, watching them play, having them sleep with me, listening to them purr and feeling the vibrations
2. Finding a can of Code Red hidden in the back of the fridge, yum!
3. Finding a store (a gas station mini mart!) that sells the kind of postcards I wanted, the photo touristy type, so I can send Postcrossing cards

Aww, icon! So far I haven't received any, because you have to send some first, but the first ones should be coming soon, and I'm excited. I hope I get cool ones like the one you sent me from Wakefield!

We went to see The Hobbit (so much yum!) on Imax and there was an extended trailer of new Trek. Can't wait! Birthday weeks have new Trek and new Ironman. Woot!!

I hope Jeff will have time to see The Hobbit soon. We have to go up to Eugene, and into the mall, so it's a LOT of walking for me, pushes my limit, but they do have IMAX. Have you seen the nine minute Trek opening/trailer/wtfe (who knows with JJ Abrams)? I can find a link if you need it.

Yes, that trailer was part of it. Sucked me Right the Fuck IN and made me want more. I heart JJ Abrams. He and Joss Whedon (and James Cameron, I suppose) are my favorite visual storytellers. Stephen is my favorite written storyteller.
