I am on a Supernatural high.
Holy! Crap! That was just so good. I'm a little stunned, to be perfectly honest. I mean, I feel like this season has been a little up and down, but the last three eps have just completely rocked my world.
Even though they showed the Crossroads in the previouslies (and seriously, wtf? can nothing be a surprise anymore?), I had forgotten by the time Dean got there. Holy crap, he gave up his life for his brother. I mean, of course he did. He's Dean.
Bobby! I adore Bobby. The scene where he kept grabbing Dean by the jacket and just... shaking him for what he'd done. And Dean just let him do it, because what else could he have done? He knows it's stupid and wrong, but it's different when it's your family and not some random victim of the week.
And there's just no more perfect way for the Ceiling Demon to go out. Daddy Winchester escaping from Hell just in time to save his boy and give him enough time to take out the thing that ruined their lives. "That was for our Mom." Yeah, there were tears. Lots of tears.
And Ellen lives! YAY! Now Sam and Dean can start on one coast, Bobby and Ellen on the other, and next year can just be a whole season of ass-kicking! Woot!
