If Derek said anything about Sarah and Kyle, I wish it had been something about Kyle carrying Sarah's picture around with him everywhere he went.

Actually, that's what I read "she's his type" as saying. It was a shorthand for him, much easier than explaining that Kyle had had a weirdass stalkery crush on Sarah based on nothing more than her photo for years before he got sent back.

Ooh. I totally didn't think of that! I like it.

That's how I took that comment too, for what that's worth.

And that scene killed me. I totally had tears in my eyes.

Derek made me laugh last night when his response to almost every situation was to suggest blowing it up. Hee! And he was so gleeful when he got to blow that wall up.

He is apparently from the school of thought that there is no problem that cannot be solved using explosives(the same school most of the stargate soldiers belong to).

I am totally down with that school of thought so I was as happy as he was when he slapped that plastique on the wall. I also loved when they were back home and trying to figure out their next move and he was STILL all hopeful. "Hey, we can still blow it up!" Ha!

I'm trying to stay off the Dean/Sam slash train and your icon is not helping. *covers eyes*

I, too, thought the remark about "she's his type" was about the fact that Kyle carried her photo and had a known "crush from across time" on Sarah. That's kind of hard to explain without getting weird, especially since it looks like future John actively encouraged the weirdass stalkery crush.

Now, though, we have to figure out where/how John got the photo to give Kyle, since John and Sarah have jumped forward in time without being able to carry anything with them, so neither John nor Sarah currently have the photo. Maybe FBI guy has it in his evidence collection, and that's how they'll get it back in the loop.

"Weirdass stalkery crush" is totally my favorite saying of the day.

I bet Charlie is somehow involved in the picture surviving. Maybe she left it behind when they packed up and scrammed and he still has it.

This is not a show that you can just start watching halfway through the season. I've tried, but I'm hopelessly lost with the time travel (is that what is?) and AUs and all of that. It does look good, and it's loaded with actors that I like (Dean Winter!), but I waited too long to get on board the train. Instead I get my vicarious enjoyment through you! Yay!

And I know what you mean about Brian Austen Green. He grew up good :)

There was some time travel with the main characters in the beginning to jump them up to present day, but they don't go hopping around in time or anything. Mostly it's just like the movies where terminators and a few people get sent back with a particular mission.

You could still get on the train! You could run alongside and I'd totally give you a hand up. :D

I am with you on so much of this. Especially the worry about the timeline and how that's become less of a worry and Brian Austin Green being inexplicably hot when I used to roll my eyes at him in 90210.

I rewatched T2 about two weeks ago, just to remind myself of it all. I loved Linda so much, that I was really worried about having someone new playing Sarah. But. I think Sarah is likely my fave character, so obviously it all worked out. I'm going to rerwatch the first one after I finish my Firefly marathon (on Our Mrs. Reynolds right now). :-)

I own the first two movies, vhs edition box set thingy and will likely buy the series when it comes out on dvd. *crosses fingers*

Have you seen the third one? And how do you feel about the new one they are making?

Weird, right?! When I first saw him in the previews and then found out he was going to be Kyle's brother, I seriously had a little hissy fit, but wow! He plays traumatized guy from the future really well! Yay!

I was worried about Sarah being recast until I found out it was Headey. I liked her so much in 300 and she was also in this movie called Imagine Me & You that I fell in love with.

Ooh, we should have a bi-coastal viewing! I've been wanting to rewatch it ever since the show started, but I haven't yet.

Have you seen the third one? And how do you feel about the new one they are making?I haven't seen the third. I really like Nick Stahl, but I heard that it was pretty bad and I just couldn't bring myself to watch it. It's been in my Netflix queue for like a year, but I just keep pushing it further and further down the list. Have you seen it ( ... )

I had no idea who Lena was and I still haven't seen 300, so I was very dubious at first. But I love her, so it all worked out.

I just finished Jaynestown this afternoon. I'd say I'd wait for you to catch up, but I'm doing this marathon because I have a couple fics due at the end of the month and I was finding that I needed to immerse myself a bit in the verse.

I haven't seen the 3rd movie either, it looked really dumb and T2 has been one of my favorite movies since it came out. I was afraid it would ruin it for me.

As for the 4th movie? Christian Bale is playing John, so I have high hopes.

I didn't love 300 as much as I thought I would, but she was fantastic in it.

I meant a rewatch of T1! I was unclear. I was all babbly and flaily and making no sense. Hee.

Christian Bale is made of awesome, I think, so I don't see how his John Connor could be bad. We shall see.
