Yeah it was brief but as of today I'm free as a bird again. GF did not approve of my new commitments the least and as I'll take the step into the full-time worker's life in a month I really don't have the time to juggle it all. Fafnir camp has changed
I admit it has been a long long time since I last camped Fafnir. Maybe april 2007 something? Well the other day I had the pleasure (not) of doing so again, and once the stupid thing popped on last window, I discovered that the code of conduct for the non-claiming LSs had changed.

Dark Knight and the new HNM career
Just a couple of days I finished my latest pet project DRK (well ahead of Xmas which was my original goal. Much of this is of course because of campaign, I had a brief party at 72 but besides that it was all solo. I'm insane I know.

That's pretty much the theme of this update, with an occasional besieged and skill up party (technically a pick up exp party but actual exp gain was more like a skill up). Either way, clickity on the cut for some oversized pictures!

Ok so once you open the floodgates there's no way to keep the water from flowing, thus my return was swifter than I had anticipated. The Last Verse
So yeah I'm dragging it out lol, but I just thought I'd make a little bit more... colorful last post now that I've canceled content IDs, performed my final log out and am uninstalling FFXI for good as we speak.
The Last Verse is seemingly the end of the line for Zilart and Promathia missions. Who knows if there'll be a continuation to that sooner ( Read more... ) -

At road's end
No no, I'm not going anywhere, but it always comes with a bittersweet emotion to finish a long term project after a great deal of effort and suddenly you find yourself standing there and thinking "All right, so what now?" I'm not certain quite about that yet, but I'll return to that later.
