Hey, how come I can't make the font of your post bigger on my screen? All of the other elements get bigger when I zoom, but the text does not.

That's a great question! Strange and interesting. I'll see what I can figure out since I was able to replicate the problem.

I did not have the problem drwex May 12 2011, 16:16:35 UTC
I am using Firefox on Windows and both the ctrl-scrollwheel and menu dropdown zoom commands caused the font to enlarge for me.

In my testing, the problem exists in Chrome (my usual) and Safari and does not exist in Firefox, all on Mac. I have not tried IE.

Micro-peeve drwex May 12 2011, 16:15:29 UTC
I thought it was a nice blog post, but it hits a micro-peeve of mine, which is that it's repeating a mis-quote. The proper quote is:

"No matter where you go, there you are."

I guess mine counts as a paraphrase, then. Or not. ;) There is also debate regarding its true origin before Buckaroo Banzai--some say Confucius, some say Buddha.

I did, however, track down the proper quote ("Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today.) in the previous post from Jefferson which I not only had wrong but also though was Franklin.
