As far as I know there was no drama over what's going down at Dragons - only opinions. Opinions which hardly seem to matter, but that's besides the point.
The 'anger' which is more of a constant annoyance is the fact that all that they do - without true opinions of those involved - effects people's characters. Maybe we don't need our characters losing everyone they care about in one fell swoop? Maybe that's just gonna kill the whole mood to do stuff there, though I guess maybe only a few people care about that now.
"Opinions which hardly seem to matter, but that's besides the point." and "though I guess maybe only a few people care about that now." is why I'm calling drama on this. Seriously. If you have something to say, say it. It seems like something passive-aggressive to me.
I believe stating that is saying what I had to say? I said what I had to on the OOC post as well - that's not passive aggressive. Maybe you should stop trying and provoke people into being in the wrong?
That's not why people were upset, really. And not the problem. We all know it's a RP game and that it doesn't rule our lives. We have much more important things to do after all. But, even thought it's a mod plot, we have the right to comment about it.
We just don't agree with destroying everything out all of a sudden. In a game that's supposed to last until December, would the angels just sit still and not attack for nine months? That's one city destroyed and a major one. About the characters, wouldn't yours be upset if everyone they cared for died at the same time?
That's the whole deal and just what I wanted to say. It's my opinion and, as everyone, I can say it. Not a matter of stirring up drama because I feel like it.
It was an April Fool's joke, apparently, but even if they'd been going through with it it wasn't supposed to be all the barriers that were getting destroyed, from my understanding. Which means that the city could have still stood. Right? Right.
That's not the point. The city would have stood for, probably, with some luck, one or two months. Angels being this aggressive would take it out instantly.

I mean, isn't it natural to empathize with your characters and feel sad if they're going to be effected so much?
