Sororities suck

Do you ever realize how ironic it is when someone gives you advice and you don't follow it because you want them to be wrong...but then in the end you find out they were very much correct the whole time? When my heart feels dark about DZ, I remember that I have you and Laura and Aynsley and the few other girls that I know I'll be friends with after this is all over.

Hello there! Well...after I read this entry, I had to get a little philosophical. So I think we talked about this the other day but I honestly can't remember everything we said. There are definitely "sorority girls" and those who aren't. I never used to think you were a sorority girl but that was because I was thinking of sorority girls in the way you see some of these other girls, as these sterotypical girls who are extremely friendly and like to go out and have fun but can turn bitchy and vindictive at the snap of your fingers. Unfortunately, these girls do exist in a lot of sororities but then there are people like you and the friends you made through DZ, the people who give the sorority girl image a good name and actually want a true sisterhood. And even though you feel as though you don't 100% belong and can't wait for this all to be over, maybe this is your opportunity to not let it completely become this sorority that's consumed by backstabbing, etc but what a sorority is really intended to do.
