well since i am a highschool senior, i should respond!
haha.....i totally agree! Thats why wutever happens in highschool happens, and I plan on beginning a totally new life when i enter college...soo yeah...
But you see....I know about wut ur saying about the whole relationship thing but the thing is when someone is in LOVE, no matter wut, LOVE controls ur life from then on, i mean u know wut i am saying, ppl will be willing to do ANYTHING to stay with their b/f or g/f cuz they just DONT SEE IT COMING and plus they get involved in their little dream worl and dont givva damn about college!!!
but i'm not saying i am in love or nething cuz i am not lol....but yeah.

and as for that ^, i also agree with.... omg irizarry's crap?!?!?!?!! all those math classes we took.....SAT scores?!?!?! wtf? hows that gonna help us when we get into college, w/e....its a huge mystery...
reading this post i kept thinking back to something the valedictorian said at my broter's graduation:
"we work so hard for the greater part of our lives to have the 'perfect gpa' and the 'perfect scores' and the 'perfect relationships'. the truth is, as soon as you take that first step into college, everything that has defined who you are for your whole life dissolves into nothing. your life begins all over again...just be ready for that."
i know for a fact its comfortable for most people to avoid change, be it because of fear or whatever the reason. the truth is, the scariest part is that change will occur nonetheless. everyone has their priorities. sooner or later, they'll realize what's REALLY important.

For starters... I was not only talking about you. But you are the fourth person who has told me that they do or don't want to go to a certain college because they were scared, or they wanted to wait for someone and continue dating someone, or go to another college cause they don't want to leave a friend. Those are silly reasons!
Second... I never said that UF is the perfect university. I never said FIU was a bad university. What I said was that you shouldn't let outside factors influence you decision.
Third... At no point did I say going to FIU was stupid. In fact... I didn't even mention FIU! I didn't mention a college at all!
Fourth... RELAX YOUR NERVES! NO ONE IS ATTACKING YOU, YOUR FAMILY, YOUR LOVE FOR RICHARD, OR YOUR FINANCIAL STATUS! Slow Deep Breaths

its so hard not to base ur decisions on the person you love, even though you know it wont last. i know im just starting my life by leaving highschool behind, but why purposefully ditch everything that meant anything to you in highschool just because you may have been "stupid" before. ive wanted to study the same thing since i was 5, but it might change in college, noone knows. but you cant wait till college to start your life either.
