Maximo Park. They're an up-and-coming British band that I haven't stopped listening to. Actually, all they have out now are singles, but I think their album is coming out this Summer.

Good picks. I love "Beneath Medicine Tree" so I guess I should pick up Copeland's new album. Mae's new album is pretty good.

I can't get into Beck. Its definately an aquired taste to like his stuff....Any good songs that would help change that?

copeland's new album blows 'medicine tree' out of the water.

beck definitely is an aquired taste, no argument there. "Sea Change" is probably his most 'listener-friendly' album (lots of acoustic guitar, no rapping) but his new cd is just tight as hell and fun to listen to cos of all the crazy beats. i would categorize it as alt-rap. but the songs "Girl" or "E-pro" are pretty rocking.
