It took every ounce of willpower Harry still possessed, and a rather angry and violent, young blonde woman at the door, to keep Harry from racing down to the gate the moment he saw Julian. It physically hurt to be this close to him and yet not touch him, see him, hold him. Just... be there.
It was Gwen that opened the door, standing behind it.
Harry didn't move. Standing just back from the door, to one side. He was learning about his privacy and lack thereof. And how to protect it. A million things went through his head, but only two words came to his lips.
Gwen, to her credit, is gone in a second. She'll leave the house later, when the news crews are gone. But it's a big enough house for her to lose herself in.
Harry clings to Julian, tears on his cheeks. "Yes. Oh god. I'm so sorry. I never wanted this for you."
"It's not that bad, habibi. Calm down, there's no need for tears." Julian hugs him back, swaying slightly. One hand comes up to brush Harry's cheeks softly.
At some point after Angela sees Julian on television, she decides to try his phone. She sits on her bed upstairs, chewing on her lower lip, listening to the phone ring.
"Hi, Julian. It's Angela. I'm so glad you're okay, I just wanted to sort of...let you know things are okay here. Your mom was glad that you replied to my journal entry, too."
Angela doesn't have much to talk to him about, really...but she just needed to call.

"Don't apologise. You don't need to." Mumbled against Harry's neck as Julian keeps holding him.

Richard picked up.
"You know. Stuff. Is mum all right? As all right as I should expect given the circumstances?"
