We docked in Salaverry, Peru, this morning, accompanied by hundreds of pelicans. They flew in a single line of three or five or fifteen, or just messed about. Ooh, birds! Did you get any photos?!?!?????? Haven't you run across any birders on the ship who can ID them for you???? What fun. Pelicans are my favorite bird.

I love Pelicans, they are so beautiful, especially in flight. Next to ravens they are my favorite bird to draw.
