yesterday we found our way to the Pompidou center, because JL wanted to check out the modern art exhibit. But I had spent a couple of hours wandering in the rain looking at the incredible displays of fabrics from all over the world - no one has ever mentioned that this fabric market exists, and if I lived here I would take up sewing again. Honestly, why do you have to pound the pavement at all? It's not necessary and you won't feel bad for missing it. You'll feel physically better, too, if you don't. Go hang in a tea room in St Michel instead, or just sit in a trendy wine bar... Even in the rain, there's much sedentary fun there. I should know, I was a major sedent.
