On Wednesday night I was sitting on the couch when suddenly something hit me and fell into my lap. i looked down just long enough to see a face looking back at me which was enough before i jumped up and started screaming for dear life. when i finally calmed down i realized it was a cricket, and aren't those supposed to be good luck?

Would you say it was as good as the first PotC? I LOVED that one, but the second one was kind of 'meh', to me. That's weird, though, that there isn't enough Jack. :\

Did you stay until after the credits (I think that's when it is)? I read that there's a scene at the end that many people miss because they leave as soon as the movie is over.

well, i would say it is very different from the first, so it's hard to say if it is "better" or not. The first one is a classic to me, i'll admit. But i would say this one almost stands on its own and you should definitely go see it! I agree, i was "meh" with the second one too, but i think a lot of second movies get that "meh" response.

We did! It was funny because there were only like 10 people in the theater with us to begin with, so when it was over the 2 of us and one other guy stayed until the very end which i think annoyed the clean up crew because they had to wait for us to leave to clean the theater. Those credits took forever but i was glad i stayed to the end.

Yeah, same here! I loved it. :) You're the second person who has said it's better than the second so I think I'll give it a chance. :)
