how sturdy are the open crescent inserts? I love my fractal driphooks, but the insert doesn't stay in place very well and I'm afraid of losing one; just wondering if the open crescents are secure, or on the loose side.

they're in so tightly you'll need tools to work them. or, of course, you can use dremel polishing tools to loosen them to your exact preferences. :)
