[when Oliver turns the sphere on, he is grinning widely. not only that, but this is a purely genuine grin--completely unlike the forced smiles and fake nonchalance that he has been putting on since the fight with the anti-Alliance group ruined his spirits. this time he is honestly in a...well, a rather incredible mood, actually. maybe a bit too incredible, even for him]
How amazing is this wormhole? It's like Stargate! Except real! And better! [flails his arms for emphasis] And I don't know what that transmission said, but it must've been good if we jumped right into a wormhole, right? I mean, we've gotta be catching up with the First now! And then we can get the Gate back, and then we can all go home! How fantastic is that? This couldn't be better!
And... [hesitates, grinning fit to burst now. he clearly means to leave a pause here for dramatic effect, but he's having too much trouble containing himself to wait for long before he continues, speaking all in a rush] I've got even better news, too! Guess who's here on the ship? No, really. Guess. You'll never get it! Okay, well, you don't have to because I'm gonna tell you anyway. Guess wh--no, did that already. All right, Chloe's here! [there is clear fondness in his tone when he says her name, and his expression takes on a slightly different cast now--more contented beaming than excited grin] She's finally getting to see space, after everything! And you know what? She's loving it just as much as I hoped she would! She's not upset to be here at all, and we get to be together again, and she can meet all of you now, and...and isn't that amazing!? [pauses, as though asking his listeners if they can believe how perfect this is, though he clearly has no doubts. he is practically glowing with happiness and excitement and relief] You should all come meet her! She's staying with me. And you'd better come soon because you know we're gonna take care of the First and be headed back home in no time! So hurry!
[he reaches up to turn off the sphere now, but then he stops as another thought strikes him] Oh, no wait, almost forgot! You've also all gotta go to the bar in sector 38 because their pints are really incredibly good now. Like, the best ever. I don't know what happened, but don't miss out! Soooo...I know! Instead of coming to my room to meet Chloe, we should all meet up there! She'd love that. A regular party! Who's up for pints and fun with mates?
