[when the Sphere comes on, it doesn't show much of anything at all quite yet. just a thick, green plume of fog. but listen carefully, and there are the tale-tell signs of someone crying out in indignation--followed by a thump, a couple things clattering loudly on the metal floor, and a door slamming shut. the moment the door closes, the plume swirls quickly away, leaving the poor Doctor on the ground, coughing, with his sonic screwdriver and a couple trinkets lying nearby.]
[though something is wrong.]
[he sits up, letting out a groan and rubbing the back of his head quickly, then begins to laugh]
What was that all about?! Funny, I remember being on my feet a moment ago--unless I was doing a handstand. Could explain the rush of blood to my head and-- ohhhh, hello! [his eyes widen upon seeing his hand. he turns it over a couple times, rubs it to see if it's covered in paint, and even licks it.] Huh. That's strange. Very strange. Textbook strange, I'd wager. I--ohh... [a curious expression crosses his face, and after a quick inspection of his limbs--partially out of the Sphere's view--he suddenly jumps to his feet. a big, goofy grin is plastered to his face and he's very much aware that the device is on now.]
I wonder if this is what Kermit feels like all the time! Well, besides the frog part, anyway. ...And the fuzzy green material, ping pong balls for eyes, and sticks attached to my wrists, but who's counting?
...How did I become green, though?
[ooc: Yes, don't adjust your television sets Sphere's colour settings! The Doctor really is green! Head to toe green. Green in places he never thought he'd be! And that's not all. But why is he like that? Well, it might have to do with someone poking his nose where it ought not to be...]
