I'm in al asad. can't say much more than that. bout 6 more months to go. all I do is guard our motor pool, at least for the next two months. not bad. be better once RCT2 and the line companies of the unit I'm Temporary additional duty to punch out first battalion second marines- the "timberwolves". who knows, I may not get behind the wheel of

well our battalion CO got shot at with an RPG. that was bout two weeks ago. three guys got caught pacing off points on another camp, where our chowhall is. they also had diagrams of the chowhall. if these guys keep up the stupid, I'm renaming them from the hajis (in reference to the muslim tradition of the hajj, the journey to mecca) to the timmys (their intelligence is that of a crack addicted ship beastie :-P)

I'm glad that you are at least doing ok. It's good to hear from you even if it's just over LJ. Keep me updated on what's going on and let me know when you are going to be coming home. Just make sure you get back safely!

they're gonna have to get smarter, or start using knives to have even a shot at me. I am planning to update this at the least weekly. and at some point, dad is getting me a PDA so I can keep a journal. I plan to try to get it published when I get out. as far as letting ppl know when I rotate back I read you all chainsaws, shotguns and seven tons on that. who knows, I may even post my addy soon...
