I just did exactly the same thing! The wireless button on my new laptop is next to the power button. I must have caught it when I turned my laptop on. I was about to panic when I remembered your post!

WoT has some good points. Verin, for instance, who's my fave character by miles... Closely followed by Mat.

I grant you, swathes of the books are dull, but other bits almost make up for that.

You're right, though parts of the book are dull or just plain confusing, and Verin and Mat are great :D
