I, almost cried
well it's my father's birthday today, Happy Birthday Papa! Moving on ..
Yesterday I felt so much excitement, it was the opening(well, 2nd) of the last part of the Star Wars prequel trilogy, Revenge of the Sith. Although I already know what will happen(everyone does), I still enjoyed the film. In my opinion, it's the best Star Wars film ever made. The light saber fights were awesome and the story really touched my heart(I don't know what that means).
Darth Vader is my favorite character and when I saw the tragedy that befell him, I was shocked, amazed, and saddened at the same time. What happened to Anakin was very tragic. He fought for what he believed and to have the power to save the one he loves from death. He was stupid enough to believe that the Jedi has betrayed the Republic .. well you can't blame him, he got too close to Palapatine and what he wanted, the Chancellor gave him(join the jedi council,be praised, etc..). He was too full of himself that lead to his demise .. pitiful I almost cried when he and Obi Wan fought. Thinking about it makes me want to sob.
Moving on, there was a scene when Anakin asked for Yoda's counseling to tell him the meaning of his dreams. Anakin told him about the death of someone close to him, I think Anakin wanted to hear from Yoda about a power that could save someone from dying but the answer he got was to let go of that someone and move on. Anakin loved Padmé and he would do anything to save her, he was traumatized by his mother's death so he doesn't want that to happen again. I can't blame his selfishness, I also would want that power to save the people close to me.
