I have 5 still pending requests to join the community. I've left messages in each of the user's journals. (Except one that has no entries.) If any of you are still interested in joining the community please reply to this post. I'd love to have you be part of the community, so I hope that you'll contact me, so we can get everything straightened out ( Read more... )

hey I would love to still join the community. if you could just help me credit your icon in the correct place, I can't seem to figure it out! LOL Thanks!! Just post a message to one of my posts on my LJ!

Alrighty, sure. The best place to credit is in the keywords of an icon. Since you already know how to upload icons, it shouldn't be hard at all. :)
Go to livejournal.com and sign in. Then you need to go to manage, user pictures. Once you are there you can see that for each picture you upload there is a text place to write for 'keywords' and 'comments'. What I personally do is I name the icon that I'm using (i.e. Gavin-yousexymachine) and also put the user's name in there too (gotr1426). Another thing that I do that's not required is I put the user's names in the comments section, but I use the LJ tag so it comes up like this gotr1426. I hope that makes more sense now and it helps you out! If you are still confused let me know.

Hi!
Ok, first you need to read the user info for the community. In there it explains how to correctly credit in keywords (I've also explained it in the post up above in more detail). Once you have all of your icons in you user info credited, you can go to the user info and there is a place that says "would you like to join the community" or something like that. You need to click on the link and then a request will be sent to me to either approve or reject your application. I hope that clears everything up. If you need more help, let me know! :)

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. To join you need to go to the user info and apply. Make sure you read the rules about crediting your icons, because when I get your application I'll be checking your keywords! If you have more questions, feel free to ask. :)
