I finally got in touch with Doctor Skye! I guess we'll be working with one another, and, ah, this actually probably wasn't a good idea to call you like this, huh? But it felt weird to make a giant announcement ... still, I'm really happy to be working with you.
So ... please, treat me kindly.
Oh, right, this is Yosuke... in case you couldn't tell from the obvious fail.
It isn't me you'll have to worry about. The floor nurse at the clinic- she'll be expecting you to pick up on things quickly, so keep on your toes during training.
But congratulations, and good luck. What are they starting you as?
Too true. I wonder if I can keep up with that and search for shapeshifters...
Thank you very much. Oh, I'm just an assistant. I don't really have any technical knowledge, but so long as I can use my healing abilities, that's all that matters, right?
Good afternoon. We spoke on the third about the possibility of investigating the lake.
[Snape speaks the name of an intersection in the 10th district.] Please meet me there tomorrow afternoon. Some time after two o'clock would be sufficient.
Come alone.
It will not be necessary, but if you should feel the need to arm yourself, please do so.
Don't wanna get in your business, but I'm figuring you're a researcher. Was wondering if you can do any pharmaceutical stuff. [Pause.] I know I asked you 'bout who to see first time I ran into you. That didn't work out.
[He's touched by the gesture, truly. Rather impressed at the extra lengths of finding his apartment address, and paper notes. And very very glad that Vince didn't manage to sneak roses in, or he'd never hear the end of it from Re-l.
...and so he'll get an electronic response later that evening, albeit 'handwritten' with stylus.]
Gilbert Nightray,
Thank you for the pie. It was tremendously thoughtful of you, and we found it most enjoyable. As I've told your brother before, I haven't been accustomed to accepting gifts from my patients, but there couldn't be nicer surprise to come home to.
As for last week, I both accept your apologies and ask your pardons for interfering in what should have stayed a family affair. I hope you have resolved things, and that the two of you are well.
[Re-l's just woken up, wandering around the apartment and trying to wake herself up, stretching and putting on some tea. Daedalus should be home soon.]
Daedalus shuffles in with his doctor's bag, looking lifeless in the eyes, stifling a yawn against his wrist. He slips his gloves off sleepily, hangs up his coat...
Re-l's up...early. But she's started work hours again, right- He slides sleepily onto a stool at the counter, watching her go about her usual routine with a faint smile.]
[He groans, shrugging, very tempted to simply slump into folded arms on the counter.]
We shaved 40% off critical care status within twenty four hours. But there's minor injuries that really should have seen treatment sooner, still trickling in.
[Fact, his usual. Work progress. Daedalus doesn't usually speak up much about his own status. But he looks tired, or lost in distant thought.]

Morning... How was the night shift?
[He probably just wants some tea, to shower and go to bed.]
You okay?
