[ It's not too difficult to find his way to Daedalus' apartments, and as the sum of Fratley's worldly possessions fits neatly into a duffel bag (and over his shoulder) he gets there on foot, after his shift.
He's changed out of his police uniform, since he's technically off duty, and there's a moment where he's held up for carrying such a visible weapon into a residential building, but when he offers his police-issued permit, he's ushered inside.
The knight isn't sure when Daedalus leaves the apartment for the hospital, but he hopes he hasn't missed the man: after he rings the doorbell, he merely hovers in front of the door, tail flicking with uncertainty. ]

[Daedalus has another hour or so to spare before he should be heading over to Skye...so his doctor's coat is hanging neatly on the peg stand beside the door, but he's in cotton medical scrubs for now, a little bleary, trying to wake himself up and keep things in order before their guest arrives.
No offense to the probably fascinating Burmecian Knight, he holds little against Fratley and won't be too grumpy about the arrangements...but he's still privately forelorn at losing Re-l's company for a few days in the tradeoff.
'It would be improper.' She'd said. At least he could be grateful she was so comfortable in cohabitation with her longtime friend and doctor.]
Sir Fratley.
[He smiles tiredly, trying not to stare, ushering him inside

[action] wow, LJ lagged massivelyby_your_leaveOctober 29 2010, 00:08:36 UTC
I am sorry to impose. [ Somehow, even with an unwieldy-looking bag slung over one shoulder and a marginally less unwieldy spear balanced on the other shoulder, the knight manages to be graceful as he steps through the threshold, tail curling and flicking behind him like a living thing.
He pauses, though, just long enough to scuff his bare, clawed feet (paws) on whatever the apartment has that passes for a welcome mat. It wouldn't do to track dirt inside. ]
Where may I put my belongings? [ He's glancing around with visible interest, perked ears and raised tail telegraphing his curiosity more visibly than his calm, gentle voice. The virtual fishtank draws his attention, as well, eyes caught by the illusion before he realizes what he's actually looking at. ]

[Yes. Trying very hard not to stare, particularly at the tail, or the...gentleman's face.
But he's still altogether curious, standing apprehensive before motioning uncertainly.]
Ah- beside the couch is fine, or the the table, anywhere, really. You'll be here by yourself for the night, I do have work- and probably will return shortly before you leave for your shift, Re-l tells me. Make yourself at home?
Wait, wait, what?! It's the middle of the afternoon, and I'm not even on duty right now...
H-hang on, I'll call ahead to the hospital and make sure someone's ready to receive you. I'm on my way-
[Ugh, and this is why Daedalus never sleeps. At least he goes to bed in scrubs, so it's a mere matter of pulling on his coat, stuffing his feet into sneakers, rubbing at his face and hurrying out the door.]

A blood transfusion usually occurs under emergency circumstances- either way, provide me with a few more details, and we'll see what we can do.
Who is this for, and exactly what are you hoping to do, Miss Bennet? Are you hoping to pass along the properties of your blood to another person- do you know from experience if that is even possible?
If you are willing, then yes- I'm willing to look into it and help you. They will both need to see me for a basic physical exam, and then we'll reevaluate the possibility of performing that kind of procedure.
