It's a sign of the apocalypse--Sarah Palin's grandchild was named Trip.  Nooooooo!  Female Trekkers everywhere cringe.

Secondly, is it wrong to make a "Mii" on your Wii (you can make an indefinite number of characters to play with) with spiky black hair, green eyes, and name him Sheppard just so you can box, play baseball, soccer, and bowl with him?

No. I have a John Sheppard Mii, a Rodney McKay Mii, a Teyla Mii, a Ronon Mii, a Jack O'Neill Mii, a Daniel Jackson Mii, and a Teal'c Mii. I have yet to add a Sam Carter, a Cam Mitchell and a Vala. I also want to add a Lorne.

Then I make them march on parade....

LOL. When I was at a friends house I made a Rodney Mii instead of a me mii. Well if I'd gone for a Sheppard Mii people might have expected me to actually be good at stuff...
