2008 Questions:
1.What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?
I spent a weekend at a mountain cabin with DA BOMB hottub, spent my birthday at the beach for the first time ever, WENT TO FRAKKIN DRAGONCON OH YEAH, went on a cruise (thanks ma-in-law), and lastly went to a club that I never-in-a-milion-years thought I would have the guts to go to
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Yes, for the first time ever I said I was going to lose weight. I wanted to lose 10 pounds, lost 25, and ran my first 5K this year. Yay me! For 2009, I want to stay this skinny n hot, but be nicer, especially to my clients at work.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
A Bunko friend of mine did. If you don't know what Bunko is, look it up. It's the best way to spend an evening with the girls, especially if there's no Joe Flanigan to go around
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No, thank you Lord.
5. What countries did you visit?
Does Nassau in the Bahamas count?
6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
More patience!
7. What dates from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Labor Day weekend--DRAGONCON! See below for more.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
My 5K. It wasn't pretty, but I damn sure did it!
9. What was your biggest failure?
My patience level with clients and co-workers.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Yes, had surgery for the second time to repair something--and they finally fixed the problem!.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
The autographs on the Walk of Fame at Dragoncon--I love David Nykl from Stargate Atlantis! He was soooooooo sweet!
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Mine. Snerk.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
All celebrities.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Travel expenses probably and DRAGONCON! I've already started saving for 2009. (And have you noticed that I have to capitalize that word every time? Cuz it rocks!.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
My smokin' weight, the cruise, and (duh) DRAGONCON!
16. What song will always remind you of 2008?
Please don't laugh--New Kids on the Block "Summertime" and "Single". Their concert was a highlight, I have to admit, especially from the 11th row (ducks the thrown tomatoes) .
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a) happier or sadder? About the same.
b) thinner or fatter? See above. I rock! Too bad things parts aren't all where they used to be after two kids!
c) richer or poorer? Marginally richer. I can do budgets very well. We also live below our means in a tiny breadbox house with tiny breadbox cars.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Relaxed and enjoyed the world around me instead of trying to think of what needed to get done

Worrying
20. How did you spend Christmas?
At home being Santa with hubby for our kids. My son is 7 and I may not have too many more before he figures it out. =(

June--summer, my birthday, and the beach all rolled into one. And yes, honey I wore that bikini!

I fall more in love with my family every day

I'm married, so none, unfortunately. What?

Big, fat DUH! Stargate Atlantis! And I'm going to die of withdrawals in about 9 days.......
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
No, still wanna pop the same people in the nose

So many........the last Harry Potter, Angels and Demons by Dan Brown, Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett
27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Well, it wasn't discovered this year, but forever and ever it will be George Harrison
28. What did you want and get?
All the Batman movies (rawwwwrr---Bruce Wayne), a Wii, and a nice body for myself
29. What did you want and not get?
To return to England for a visit and take in a Liverpool soccer/football game. Steven Gerrard--rawwwwwwr
30. What was your favorite film of this year?
Too many people will say this, but the Dark Knight. (But who will say it with as much drool as me?)

See above. Do I have to say how old I am? 30-something. There.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
More time and money? Actually, the year WAS pretty satisfying, so I'm going to change that to "nothing".

What the hell kinda question is this? Dropping 3 pant-sizes, I'd say--clingy!

The entire frakkin' election. Don't get me started. Let's just say it turned out the way I wanted!

My 15 year old kitty that passed away in 2007--George "Harrison" Ford. I love that cat.

David Nykl, Dominic Keating, Robert Picardo............how about anybody I ran into at Dragoncon???
