Chicago
Having fun in Chicago this week (even though I'm here for work). Chicago bound...
Heading to Chicago tomorrow for work, and head back home Friday. Since Monday is a travel day and I don't have to be on site at all, I wanted to have as much of the day free as possible to go exploring (only visited Chicago once, to meet Christian, and wasn't there long enough to do any touristy stuff), so I booked the earliest flight I could find ( Read more... ) -

I'm going to be in Chicago October 18-22, and then again November 1-5 (for work). This particular client is going to be using the software I train in a different way than normal, which could mean that this conversion will be most excellent, or really weird and challenging ( Read more... ) -
The slow domino effect...
I just received a letter from a bank I have a credit card with, telling me that my credit limit has been reduced. Reduced right down to around the amount I owe on the card, which ends up raising my interest rate, and of course it raises my debt to credit ratio, which of course lowers my credit score (this particular company has already closed two ( Read more... ) -

I was happy to hear about that bull getting into the stands and terrorizing the crowd. The quest to end sedentarianismishness...and other things
I've been in a rut for some time, and my life needs changing, or I'm going to die too young...either from boredom, or from a heart attack because I've entertained a sedentary lifestyle for far too many years. My current employer offers a very nice job perk. After working there for four years, an employee is eligible for a four week sabbatical, at half pay. An extra perk is that two weeks vacation time can be used at the same time, so the employee ends up getting four weeks off at full pay.
