Would you consider sex a huge part of keeping a good/great relationship going strong?

because it's a physical expression of how much you love your dude, and that's key. but it's not strictly relegated to blowing or fucking definitely. sometimes something as docile as a back massage or five minutes kissing or just tangling up together naked can do it. just something that says 'i love you and you are one of the most wonderful choices i've ever made.'

but, particularly in gay relationships, i think once any degree of sexual attraction is lost, it's going to be a difficult relationship to salvage and there has to be a rock solid emotional foundation to be able to make it. sex is just too alluring to most of us.

No, definitely not. Promiscuous people bug me and it sort of pisses me off how plenty of gay guys only have sex (I'm gay). No one has real, non-superficial love anymore. Pisses me off.

And I also find non-monogamous love quite idiotic indeed. I mean, seriously? If you're gonna marry someone, the whole point of getting married is to be DEVOTED TO THAT ONEEEEEE PERSON. COME ON PEOPLE. :|!
