Yesterday my computer got sick with an expensive virus and it had to be basically wiped clean and redone. So I'm starting over with a lot of programs. My question is this:

Does anyone know if I can upload all the stuff in my iPod TO iTunes? My new iTunes is, of course, barren, and the thought of having to rebuild from scratch is horrifying.

Yes, you can and you do not need to download a program to do it.

Let me see if I can find the explanation. . .if not I will have to retrace it.

Okay, this is not the explanation I was looking for, but it is basically the same instructions.

I was just going to give similar directions to the one a couple of comments above, as this same thing happened to me not long after I first got my iPod. The one thing the directions above gloss over a little is absolutely make sure your iTunes is NOT set to auto-sync before you plug in the USB cable, or all your music will get wiped off your iPod before you get a chance to transfer it to your hard drive. Good luck!
