PHOENIX
As late as it sounds,
And even as evening tiredly pulls over,
It's sheets to blanket the sleeping Son,
I look outside my window and see the clouds roll over,
The wind growing cold.
Flakes of powdered snow,
Brush down my face,
And pour round my world,
Revolving and filling the atmosphere,
With the chilling stillness of ice,
As it blankets the grounds.
The sun rises and hides,
Behind a billowing tempest,
Casting over my little house,
With rumbling thunder.
The trees have blossomed as New borns,
And the mansoons head my way,
And I can't help but to look out again,
To hear the down pour down my Japanese home,
Encompassing my world,
With liquid animation.
The scent of ylang ylang and jasmine,
Blossoms in the air as the heat wave comes,
And life all around me begins to become mature,
As I stare from my window,
The petals of life and fruits in the ripening,
Hanging down from the trees and orchids,
High up above my roof,
As plush white clouds roll over,
Scenic hills and beach lands.
The sun sets and fill the sky,
With it's warm colours as night pulls over,
And at a moment's glance I see a shooting star,
Streak across the sky,
Amongst the Celestial Heavens,
Shimmering high above me so brightly.
I see a face on the moon,
As I stare and venture into it,
Wondering if there's maybe someone else,
Watching it like I am now.
Soon the leaves turn red,
And the wind chills its warmth,
As life begins to decay around,
And sapient trees spill their hair,
Onto the grounds cloaking the fields,
With Crimson and Amber everywhere.
I stare at the window as the wind,
Blows the leaves in a silent eddy,
As the day chills and the sun sets.
The Earth becomes old again,
Ages, begins to wither with its hoary head,
And dies away behind the silent blanket of snow,
Falling from the heavens as frozen tears,
Being shed to cover the world of aging,
And to bury the remains of that's what left,
So it can be reborn again a new.
Ashes into Ashes,
Dust into Dust,
Darkness into Day,
And Day into Night.
Life is Reborn again a new.
