wow. ok. your best friend, who you say is your soulmate, is having a pregnancy so complicated that she could possibly die at a moments notice. we're having a conversation that we seem to be having a lot lately about you ignoring your real life friends. you say you'll back off from the lj community stuff and the online people who don't know you, and yet you become a moderator for a gillian anderson community/site/whatever. the only time i talk to you is when i text you, or comment on your LJ. anytime someone confronts you with it, you start with your "woe is me, i'm a horrible friend." routine and end up making the people who should be upset with you, who you should be talking to and checking on, comfort you *which by the way is 100% not right*. you take absolutely no responsiblity for your behavior toward the people who love you that you treat like shit and neglect. it's time you actually took responsibility for what you're doing and make steps to change it. the people who love you, who check on you everytime they find out the

You just hear about a really close friend of yours being so depressed (and quite possibly crazy) that she resorted to cutting herself...
Suggestion: Hey, so-and-so, would you like to talk about it? Are you okay? Anything I can do?
What you do: I can't believe you wouldn't tell me about this!!! Why do you have to do stuff like that to yourself and NOT TELL ME! ME ME ME ME!!
True friendship is not about ultimatums. It's about respect, caring, understanding ...blah blah. I don't want a friendship that involves threats.
