The Trail

Some friends of ours hiked the trail a couple years ago. We intercepted them in New Hamphire, near the end of the trek, both Susan and Tim thin as rails and eating two entrés per meal. What struck me most was Susan's description of the white slashes on the trees to mark the path, and how that was all she needed to think about all day long was spotting those markings.
