Hello!
I see you speak English and I beg your pardon for my intrusion but i need your help a little.
Be so kind as explain to me how to pronounce the Spain name Victor. Vi-iktor, Vikto-or, Bi-iktor or Bikto-or?
Thank you a lot! :]

yeh, you're right; there's something in common with the residents' aesthetics.
and the name you asked me shoukd be pronounced like "víc-tor", but it's really difficult teaching a sound in this way.

Oh, thanx. The first point is clear.
But I still don't understand about the accent in this word.
Let's try the english style of transcription: [vi:ktor] or like in French [vikto:r] (for example Victor Hugo)?

Actually I have to get to know how to pronounce the name of this man:

mmm, im not into phonetics, but only can tell you that the main accent it's on the i (that's because it's í). so in vÍctor the first it's the strongest.

Erice, poor man. he has always been so understimated in my country..

You're right, we don't notice the fact that we pronounce "b" instead of "v", but it's worse in german; when "v" becomes "f".

Oh, "El Sur", such a good film, of course I remember. But the filming story it's very sad; he lacked money and wasn't be able to make it properly. He had back luck, anyway, in my opinion is one of the greatest films ever in Spain.

Thanx :)

The movie is really very great. Cine-poetry.
One more question, who is El Carioco? :)

That video is rule, it's like if a family decided to take hostages as a bonding exercise and then made a home movie of it.
