I don't have anything against Canadians! My point was that image wise the song will do nothing for Hillary--songs are meant to enhance the rally (or whatever) experience, not distract from it. Celine Dion's appeal is to the middle aged housewife, and thats not who she is targeting in this race. Her primary demographic is the 18-30 population, and having a Celine Dion song isn't going to convince the bracket.
She's running for President of the US...and one can make a valid argument that she should have chosen a song by an American artist. Keep in mind that at the moment, Hillary is my favorite contender, so this cant be taken as an "I hate Hillary" rant, because it is certainly not.
This really has less to do about Celine Dion's nationality than it does about the fact that the song chosen is inappropriate for the kind of campaign Hillary is trying to run, it is also boring, and will do little to boost her bid.
