i'm not sure what it is, it's only happened twice, like a little sting on my finger when i'm covering the vents to keep my hands warm

could be my imagination

although, i have experienced the whole 'accidentally touched my hard drive without grounding myself first' drama on my computer at home. it wasn't pretty for the next 30 minutes as i flung experlatives at the wall. fortunately, the shock just reset the drive array makikng the drive 'disappear', as opposed to frying my whole system or crashing the drive completely which is what i thought happened. *phew*
