I did indeed have every intention of posting -something- yesterday evening, provided I was able to do so (see: yesterday's post), but the call of Azeroth was simply far too great. having pre-formed strats is half of it; our real test will be on vael, as none of us have been there before. we all have some new skin to grow into for the 3 minute clusterfuck of doom.

i have a hard on for A'Q. and have since before the game was ever released. i saw a map of the world and was like "THAT THING IN SW KALIIMDOR IS GONNA ROCK"

apoth tried MCing the mages, and it didn't work out too well. since they're 2-3 levels above you, MC breaks in about 8-10 seconds, as well as losing a significant chunk of priest healing to MC.

That's the thing though; with the monster amount of lag we experienced on the first successful Razorgore encounter, I had more trouble healing people - as if they needed it - than I did finding a mage, mind controlling it and sending it to the middle of the room to spam arcane explosion two or three times (if I was lucky), before it broke MC or died really quickly, as the AEs produced a lot of aggro and even elite casters aren't exactly made of hit points, moreso when its getting beat to death by other elites. Also, it's important to note that priests should not be primary healers in the Razorgore fight; I throw renews, fade, and try not to pull aggro if I do have to save someone from the brink of death. Considering that we're lower on the healing totem pole for that fight, I don't think having two or three priests trying to MC a mage while they are throwing their renews, fading and trying not to pull aggro, would hurt us too, too terribly ( ... )
