I'm not a candy person. I don't buy it though if you were to offer me a piece of your kit-kat, I wouldn't turn it down. However, this time of year my favorite candy comes out and I'm completely addicted. They are called Robin Eggs and they are essentially whoppers with a candy coating. Be easy on yourself with the smoking. It is a serious, insidious addiction. When people quit drinking AA recommends that alcoholics do not try to stop smoking until they have at least 18 months of sobriety. I quit smoking for a year at 23 then picked up again. I didn't set it back down until almost ten years later. It's difficult to quit. And you don't do it until you're ready. I knew I was getting there about a year before I finally put them down for the last time.
